How long have you been in business?
We are proud to say that we have been in business 25 years. The business is run by Joe Pavone, one of the original founding partners, and Rob Quigley, a partner since 2002. Both individuals are very involved in the day-to-day operation of the business.
Do you provide financing?
We work with several local lenders who offer a variety of products including construction loans, lines of credit and existing loan refinancing all at today’s most competitive rates. Bradford and Kent also has available, unsecured loan programs from one year same-as-cash to interest free programs.
Who will I be working with to design my remodeling project?
Bradford and Kent is a complete Design-Build firm employing an award winning professional design team that works directly with clients. Once you have scheduled a no-fee design consultation, a designer will prepare 3D designs including floor plans and elevations for your review.
What will it cost to get an estimate?
Bradford & Kent will provide you with a no-fee consultation at your home. A designer will visit your home, take detailed measurements, prepare a design with sketches and provide a project cost estimate all at no charge to you.
Where will I need to go to get ideas for my remodeling project?
Bradford and Kent has a 6000 square foot Design Center showcasing every room in the house including full kitchens, baths and family rooms. Also on display are areas for material selections such as tile, flooring, countertops and plumbing fixtures. A large selection of windows and doors is also on display.
Design Center hours are Monday through Friday 9AM to 5PM, Saturday 9AM to 4PM.
Is someone available to assist me in selecting products?
Bradford & Kent has a full time Design Coordinator who is specifically charged with assisting clients in product selection. We also have an interior design service available upon request.
Do you secure building permits?
We have a project planning department that prepares permit applications and performs the necessary follow-up with local building departments until the permit has been received.
Will I be able to look at plans for my project?
Our in-house Architectural/Engineering department prepares working drawings for review and approval by clients. These same plans are used for permits and construction.
Do you provide project supervision?
Bradford & Kent assigns a Project Superintendent to manage the construction phase of your project. The Superintendent is also responsible for maintaining regular communication with the client regarding construction progress.
Are you lead paint certified?
Yes, Bradford and Kent has completed of all the necessary training to obtain Lead-based Paint Renovation, Repair and Painting certification.
Is there a warranty on your remodeling work?
Bradford & Kent provide a full five-year construction warranty on all of its remodeling projects.
What do I do if there is a question or an issue after the project is complete?
As a Bradford & Kent client you will have access to our Service Department which is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You will also have access to our 24-hour emergency service for help with those items that need immediate attention.
Can you supply referrals?
Over 95% of our past clients would recommend Bradford & Kent to their friends and neighbors. And nearly 85% of our new business comes directly or indirectly from a past client referral. These are statistics that we are very proud of and work very hard to maintain. We would be happy to provide referrals upon request.
